Jon Collis founded JCS Air Conditioning Services Ltd in Devizes, Wiltshire, in 2003, and is in the process of handing over the running of the business to his son, Matthew, who has been working as Lead Engineer for our firm for some time.
Jon started the business initially as a “one-man-band” after leaving his job with a company which operated with low health and safety standards and inflated prices.
The father and son team are now supported by a staff of five City & Guilds qualified engineers, and Matthew plans to continue building the reputation of business on the solid foundation set by his father.
Jon and Matthew are both qualified and experienced electricians and air conditioning and refrigeration engineers. They and their team gain enjoyment and personal pride from providing high-quality workmanship and friendly, professional customer service to numerous appreciative clients with whom they have developed a long-term business relationship.
Our firm are members of the Institute of Refrigeration (for experts in the field of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps) and the Federation of Small Businesses, and we have a registered F-Gas account with the Environment Agency.
We have all the skills and equipment necessary in-house to undertake any project for householders or businesses in the area without having to call in sub-contractors.
We have a reputation for being leaders in installing, maintaining and repairing domestic and commercial air conditioning systems in Wiltshire and neighbouring counties – but that’s not all we do.

We are approved and accredited installers of Fujitsu air conditioners, but we work with any make or model of appliance.
