We hear it all the time from hot homeowners: “I don’t know how I’ll make it through another summer of heatwaves!”.
We have the solution that will enable you to come home to a cool, comfortable house even when it’s scorching outside. The latest air conditioning systems also offer heating capabilities, so you can keep your indoor space at an ideal temperature all year round.
Air conditioning can also help reduce humidity levels and many come with built-in filters that trap dust, pollen, pet dander and other pollutants, improving indoor air quality.
Imagine sleeping soundly without sweating through the humid summer nights, and working from home in a cool space during the day. Relax with your family and pets in cool comfort while the pavements sizzle outside. Not only does air conditioning your home enhance your life, it also increases the value and appeal of your house or flat, no matter its age, size or location.
If you want to make sure you can chill out at home, we’ll find the ideal solution for you, even down to a portable air conditioning unit. You can trust our experienced, City & Guilds qualified engineers, who are F-Gas registered, to efficiently install and maintain the right air conditioning system for your property at a highly competitive price.
We’ve been designing, installing and maintaining air conditioning systems in homes across Wiltshire and neighbouring counties (including the cities of Bath and Salisbury) since 2003.
There’s a type of air conditioner to suit just about any property. We can even target individual rooms or zones in your home. All you need do to find out the coolest system for your home is to arrange for our air conditioning engineers to visit you and determine your needs.
The most common air conditioners for UK homes are wall-mounted split systems, which consist of two units: a neat indoor unit mounted high up on the wall, which is linked by refrigerant pipes to an outdoor unit, where the heat is expelled. This system is great for a single room (bedroom or lounge for example), runs quietly and cheaply on electricity.
If you want your entire house to be chilled you can opt for a multi-split system, which works the same way except there will be multiple indoor units connected to a single outdoor unit (condenser).
Another alternative is to ask us about ducted air conditioning – perfect for installing in a new build or property undergoing a major renovation. This involves a central unit usually positioned in the loft which pushes cool air through hidden ducts and vents in multiple rooms.
Modern air conditioning units typically last up to 20 years if they are well maintained. Regular servicing, including cleaning, checking refrigerant levels and changing the filter, will keep your air conditioner working happily at peak performance.
We will carry out any work on your domestic air conditioning system that is required, whether we installed it originally or not. Any air conditioning systems we do install come with a seven year warranty, over and above any manufacturer’s warranty, so we’ll ensure your system maintains its efficiency. When your air conditioner reaches the end of its lifespan we’ll suggest and install an upgrade or replacement with the latest technology.
We are approved installers for Fujitsu air conditioners, known for their advanced technology, energy efficiency and sleek designs, however we can fit and work on any make or model of air conditioner.
